Hyper Cup
Remember the hypercolour teeshirts that change colour with body temperature (not so great in summer you'd think).Some bright folks saw fit to apply the same technology to the world of mugs. To illustrate, the bottom half contains hot water and the top half is pre-heat.

btw - i had one of those hypercolour shirts back in the 80s (or 90s?)...yeah, they weren't very practical were they?
